Job summary

Greenleaf Hospitality Group seeks a friendly, detail-oriented team member for our ticket office at the Kalamazoo Event Center. You will process ticket, mail, and group orders and handle phone credit card orders while providing excellent customer service.

You will relay information about games, events, and facility details and maintain accurate reports. The role involves standing or sitting for long periods, occasional heavy lifting, and flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving.
• Cash handling experience.
• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more.
• Able to stoop and bend.
• Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Process all types of ticket orders placed at the ticket office directly
• Process mail orders for all events held at the Event Center
• Process group orders for all events held at the Event Center
• Process credit card orders by phone
• Maintain good customer relations and service
• Provide information to patrons concerning hockey games, special events, and general facility facts
• Answer customer inquiries and mails appropriate information as requested
• Understand the functions and operations of the Etix System
• Attend staff training
• Becomes familiar with necessary reports: Injury Reports, Customer Complaints, Incident Reports, etc.
