Robotic Technologies Automation in Stamford, CT seeks an experienced SAP BO/Spotfire Administrator to install, configure, and maintain BI platforms across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will manage universes, data configurations, and authentication integrations while ensuring security and performance.

• Experience administering SAP BO and Spotfire environments.
• Proficient in managing authentication systems (LDAP/AD/SSO/MFA).
• Strong knowledge of BO tools and reporting/visualization architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP BO components in Cloud & On-prem environments.
• Maintain Universes (UNX/UNV) and data configurations in Spotfire.
• Administer user roles, groups, and permissions in Spotfire and BO.
• Integrate with authentication systems (LDAP, AD, SSO, MFA, Entra ID).
• Configure connections to databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
• Manage environments (Development, QA, Production).
• Understand NAS/FXS storage and monitoring considerations.
• Perform system health checks and performance tuning.
• Apply patches and upgrades for both platforms; ensure security compliance.
• Monitor server performance and optimize resources; tune queries and dashboards.
• Manage caching strategies and load balancing; assist content migrations.
• Test systems after upgrades; maintain runbooks and SOPs for audits.
• Provide L2/L3 support to users and developers.

Descripción del empleo

• Strong server administration experience with Reporting/Visualization tools.
• Other similar Windows-based reporting/visualization tools knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of Web Intelligence, CMC, IDT/UDT (BO tools), Spotfire architecture (Node Manager, Library, Services).
• Experience with Linux/Windows servers, Tomcat/Web servers, Oracle, Databricks, Datahub.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP BO (BI Platform) components, TIBCO Spotfire Server, Web Player, Automation Services in Cloud & On-prem environment.
• Maintain Universes (UNX/UNV) in BO and data configurations in Spotfire.
• Administer user roles, groups, and permissions in Spotfire and BO.
• Integrate with authentication systems (LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, Entra ID).
• Configure and manage connections to databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, etc.).
• Manage system environments (Development, QA, Production).
• Understanding of shared storage NAS, FxS.
• Perform regular system health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Apply patches, hotfixes, and upgrades for both platforms.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
• Monitor server performance and optimize system resources.
• Tune queries, reports, and dashboards to improve responsiveness.
• Manage caching strategies and load balancing.
• Support migration of content across environments.
• Perform system testing after upgrades or changes.
• Attend business/technical meetings, maintain system documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with IT governance standards.
• Provide L2/L3 support to business users and developers.
