Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to support the GDOT Transportation Investment Act (TIA) Program in Georgia. You will oversee the Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 program and serve as a liaison among GDOT, local governments, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

Based in Georgia with a remote work option, the role requires strong project management and communication skills to ensure schedule adherence, budget control, and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or related field.
• 4+ years of roadway construction or transportation project management experience.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 (2023-2032) transportation projects.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings with GDOT, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and milestones; track progress and risks.
• Coordinate with local governments regarding status of locally let projects.
