Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to support the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Transportation Investment Act (TIA) Program. This role oversees the Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 Program, coordinating between GDOT, local governments, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.

The position is based in Georgia with a remote work model and requires strong PM skills, GDOT familiarity, and effective communication to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 4+ years in roadway construction or transportation PM.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to visit project sites and offices.
  • Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Program and Project Management: deliver Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 projects.
  • Contract and Financial Management: review/invoice approvals and resurfacing bid packages.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: serve as primary liaison with GDOT, locals, and consultants.
  • Leadership and Oversight: guide multidisciplinary teams across design, construction and maintenance.
