Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to support the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Transportation Investment Act (TIA) Program. This role oversees the Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 Program, coordinating between GDOT, local governments, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.

The position is based in Georgia with a remote work model and requires strong PM skills, GDOT familiarity, and effective communication to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 4+ years in roadway construction or transportation PM.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to visit project sites and offices.
Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Program and Project Management: deliver Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 projects.
Contract and Financial Management: review/invoice approvals and resurfacing bid packages.
Stakeholder Coordination: serve as primary liaison with GDOT, locals, and consultants.
Leadership and Oversight: guide multidisciplinary teams across design, construction and maintenance.
