Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Throughput Unit (10 beds). Deliver patient‑centered nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and adapt care based on patient needs.

Requirements: graduation from an approved nursing program, active RN license (multi‑state compact or state), BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. BSN preferred. Day shift with weekend/holiday rotation; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Administer treatments per protocol and adapt care to patient needs.
