Job summary

The Salvation Army family store in Elberton, GA is seeking a capable supervisor to assist the Family Store Manager with daily operations, staff training, and cashier oversight. You will help ensure accurate sales processing and deposits while maintaining welcoming customer service and policies.

Responsibilities include merchandising, price-setting for turnover, and assisting donors and shoppers. A reliable candidate with retail experience and leadership abilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year retail experience.
• Retail experience at Salvation Army preferred with supervising experience.
• Ability to train and supervise coworkers and manage daily operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Family Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and instruct employees in proper methods and procedures.
• Supervise cashier activities and handle deposits and reporting.
• Maintain store displays, stock rotation, and pricing decisions.
• Assist customers with locating items and donations, and explain store policies.
• Prepare daily sales reports and bank deposits.
