Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is hiring a SALES ASSOCIATE/MATERIAL HANDLER for the Redlands Thrift Store. You will be crucial in providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Candidates are required to have a High School diploma, effective communication skills, and the ability to pass a background check. This part-time position includes flexible scheduling; shifts may include evenings and weekends, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Customers and Donors needs are met by a genuine greeting.
• Stock priced items ready to be merchandised on the sales floor.
• Assist in the maintenance of the store and donation area.
