Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Retail Sales Associate (Part-time, 25 hours per week) to provide friendly customer service, operate the register, restock and keep displays neat, and support daily sales.

You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled; paid training is provided; the role is in a team-oriented environment with employee discounts. A high school diploma or current pursuit is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Previous retail, cashier, or thrift store experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors, providing friendly service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions.
• Open, close, and balance the register as assigned.
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat.
• Sort and move merchandise to the sales floor.
