Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Fort Wayne is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to provide great customer service, operate the register, and help keep the store organized. The role supports daily sales while welcoming donors and customers in a team-oriented environment.

This part-time position includes evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled, with paid training and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills. An employee discount and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability.
• Able to operate the register and balance the till as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers & donors providing friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals
