Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate (PT, 25 hrs) to provide great customer service, operate the register, and keep the store organized. This role includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

You will help restock, balance the register, and work with teammates to meet daily sales goals while delivering a welcoming shopping experience for donors and customers.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly customer service with a positive attitude.
• Accurate cash handling and register operation.
• Maintain accurate balance of the register as needed.
• Assist with restocking and merchandising tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers & donors, providing friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized
