Job summary

The Humane Society of Central Oregon is seeking a part-time Retail Associate for our thrift store in Bend. You will cashier, process donations, price items, and help customers while supporting store goals.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of retail experience, a valid Oregon driver’s license if required, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work with the team to boost sales and provide excellent service.

This role requires punctuality, reliability, and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail experience, preferably in clothing or second-hand retail.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Basic knowledge of computers and store software.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately.
• Process donations and price items for sale.
• Maintain stocked, organized sales floor and assist with store operations.
• Collaborate with Management to implement sales strategies and achieve revenue goals.
• Ensure safety procedures and store policies are followed.
