Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Oxford, MI is hiring a Retail Store Processor to help turn donations into store-ready merchandise. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week, with evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled, and pay between $13.73 and $15.73 per hour.

Your duties include sorting, tagging, pricing items, tracking production, moving stock to the floor, and assisting donors. Training is provided and you’ll join a team committed to community service.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors.
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.
