Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Highland, MI is looking for a part-time Retail Store Processor. You will process donated goods, help keep the store organized, and assist in meeting daily production goals while delivering friendly donor service.

Responsibilities include sorting, tagging, pricing merchandise, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining clean work and storage areas. Paid training and ongoing coaching are provided, with employee discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
