Job summary

The Salvation Army Southwest Division is seeking a Thrift Store Supervisor in Billings, MT. You will oversee daily store operations, production, and receiving areas to meet goals while ensuring quality and donor relations.

You will train and coach staff, evaluate performance, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. This role involves lifting up to 75 pounds and cooperating across departments to support the mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required; business coursework or degree preferred.
• Two or more years of retail, warehouse, or production experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff on the sales floor, in production, and in receiving areas to help ensure daily goals are met.
• Assist with quality assurance, customer service issue resolution, and cross-department support as needed.
• Help train staff, monitor performance, and assist with employee evaluations and corrective feedback.
• Ensure work areas are safe, organized, and consistent with Salvation Army standards.
