Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking an Assistant Thrift Store Manager in Sheridan, WY. The role supports the Store Manager in all operations, including donations, merchandising, and staff oversight. The position requires handling security, banking tasks, and daily reports while ensuring excellent customer service and a well-maintained store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and retail experience in marketing/merchandising.
• Supervisory experience (preferred).
• Must have a current, valid Wyoming driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in all store operations.
• Oversee donations, stock, pricing, displays and discounts per procedures.
• Supervise employees, volunteers, and schedule staffing.
• Maintain an attractive store and daily cleaning/stocking.
• Assist with training, security, banking, and sales reporting.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service in store and community.
