Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) Thrift Shop is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations alongside the Thrift Store Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead staff and volunteers, ensure excellent customer service, and contribute to a mission-driven program that funds NVFS's community initiatives.

• Background in customer service or retail operations preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Represent thrift shop in a positive, pleasant manner with customers.
• Establish a donations collections process and pricing workflow with Store Manager.
• Maintain attractive sales floor layout and proper merchandise displays.
• Oversee rotation, merchandising, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor.
• Support vendor relations and community partnerships for donations.
