Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager/MIT - Part-time, 25 hours per week, with potential to transition to full-time after a 12-week Manager-in-Training program. Pay rate: $17.00 per hour.

In this support leadership role, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, staff supervision, sales, banking and record-keeping procedures, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail experience (thrift experience a plus).
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Basic computer proficiency including POS systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and staff supervision.
• Oversee production, sales, store maintenance, and banking/record-keeping.
