Job summary

Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, Inc. is seeking a part-time Resale Clerk to support the store, greet customers and assist donors with a friendly, efficient service approach.

The role covers merchandising, cashier duties, and warehouse tasks while ensuring clean, organized floors and proper volunteer sign-in and supervision as needed.

Weekend availability is required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and prior retail or donation-center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, donors and clients.
• Sign in volunteers and community service workers.
• Answer the phone professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and dressing areas.
• Organize shelves and merchandise displays; price and stock items.
• Assist with warehouse duties and inventory control.
• Perform cashier duties and handle transactions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
