Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, Inc. is seeking a part-time Resale Clerk to greet customers, assist donors, and support merchandising, warehouse, and cashier duties. Weekend hours are required.

The role includes signing in volunteers and processing donations with attention to stocking and display standards. Cashier responsibilities include setting up cash drawers, handling transactions, and properly bagging purchases.

Formación

• Basic math skills are required.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist all customers, donors and clients.
• Sign in all volunteers and community service workers.
• Answer the phone professionally with RCC Resale greeting.
• Keep all areas organized and clean; vacuum and mop weekly.
• Oversee appearance and merchandise display on the sales floor.
• Organize shelves and rehang misplaced clothing.
• Recover dressing room throughout the day.
• Inform store manager of merchandise or supplies needing stock; rotate old stock.
• Send unpriced merchandise back to the warehouse for processing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Set up and verify cash drawer; check out customers at the register; handle cash/credit/debit; wrap purchases.
• Bring in donations left outside after hours; greet customers entering the store; sort donations; price items; assist carry-outs.
