Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift in Riverview, FL is hiring a janitor to maintain cleanliness and order in our thrift store. You will clean and sanitize the sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, performing sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface cleaning.

You will also empty trash and recycling and return shopping carts to designated areas to support a positive shopping experience. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, with prior thrift/retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize various areas of the thrift store, including the sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Empty trash bins and recycling containers, ensuring proper disposal and separation of waste materials
• Retrieve shopping carts or baskets from store entrances or parking areas and return them to designated locations for customer use
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas throughout the shift
