Job summary

Waterfront Rescue Mission- in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Custodial Associate to keep the thrift store clean and welcoming. Under the direction of the Store Management Team, you will perform cleaning, restroom stocking, trash removal, and report repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Christian commitment and ethical conduct required.
• Ability to form effective working relationships with supervisors, staff and public.
• One or more years related experience in maintenance and/or commercial cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the sidewalk and parking lot are free of weeds and debris.
• Ensures all glass is clean and free of fingerprints.
• Performs high and low dusting.
• Keeps restrooms stocked at all times.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and in good working order.
• Report items in need of repair to Store Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Empty trash cans throughout the store.
• Report low inventory of store supplies.
• Ensure great customer service at all times. Greet all customers entering the store and any that come within 5 feet.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per WRM guidelines.
• Use wet floor cones in mopped locations.
• Practice the established rules for ladder safety.
• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other Mission management.
