Job summary

Brook Valley Thrift Stores, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a dependable team member to help keep the store and back areas clean and organized, enabling smooth production flow and better customer service. You will support the production team while maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

Your duties include greeting customers, assisting with questions, managing waste and inventory flow, processing belongings, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
• Eye-hand coordination to sort, grasp, color coordinate, and tag.
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: provide fast, friendly and courteous service.
• Assessing Work Flow & Inventory: empty trash, replace carts, move discards to baling area.
• Processing: keep back lot clean and sort furniture to designated areas.
• Work Area: maintain cleanliness for safety and efficiency, remove debris.
• Safety: maintain hazard-free environment and report hazards or injuries.
• Communication: inform Production Supervisor when dumpsters need emptying.
• Meeting Targets: support production in targets and discuss improvements.
