Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Custodial Associate to keep the Waterfront Thrift Store clean at all times, following WRM guidelines and safety policies.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance or commercial cleaning experience and the ability to build effective working relationships with supervisors, staff, and the public while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Christian Commitment: must exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values and sign WRM Core Values form.
• Education/Experience: One or more years related experience and/or training in maintenance or commercial cleaning.
• Must have the ability to form effective working relationships with supervisors, clients, other staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the sidewalk and parking lot are free of weeds and debris.
• Ensures all glass is clean and free of fingerprints.
• Performs high and low dusting.
• Keeps restrooms stocked at all times.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and in good working order.
• Report items in need of repair to Store Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Empty trash cans throughout the store.
• Report low inventory of store supplies.
• Ensure great customer service at all times. Greet all customers entering the store and within 5 feet.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per WRM guidelines.
• Use wet floor cones in mopped locations.
• Practice the established rules for ladder safety.
• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Mission management.
