Job summary

Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch in Missouri is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to support daily store operations, sort/price items, display goods, operate the cash register and promote sales.

The role also involves supervising residents, following policies, and being available for 45-50 hours per week. Willingness to work with troubled boys and pass a Missouri background check are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work with troubled boys.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a Missouri State background check.
• Must work 45-50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Thrift Store Manager.
• Follow store procedures and policies.
• Sort/price items.
• Promote sales of items.
• Help maintain cleanliness overall.
• Operate cash register and credit card machine.
• Display items for sale.
• Discard items as directed.
• Sell LUC items including crafts, vehicles, buffalo meat, etc.
• Oversee LUC residents as needed. Be familiar with discipline procedures. Direct boys to work and be efficient and effective with their time.
