Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a case worker/cashier to support customers and direct clients to social services. The role includes handling daily deposits with a team, answering calls, and maintaining the thrift store environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, Safe From Harm training within 90 days, and solid English communication and computer skills. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Background Checks: Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Skills/Abilities: Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with co-workers and the public.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems.
