Job summary

Austin Pets Alive! Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Associate to support day-to-day store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will work closely with volunteers, help with onboarding, and assist with cashiering and merchandising to keep stores inviting and organized.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with volunteers and customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates reliability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide an enhanced shopping experience.
• Support volunteer onboarding and engagement.
• Ensure store operations run smoothly and tasks are prioritized.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and volunteers to maintain store standards.
• Maintain welcoming and inclusive environment for volunteers and customers.
