Job summary

McCormick & Company in Sparrows Point, MD is seeking a Warehouse Department Manager, Zone 3, to lead a three-shift operation supporting Industrial Flavor Solutions and finished goods handling.

You will manage about 60 non-exempt employees plus two exempt leaders and agency partners, drive safety, quality, and on-time performance, and partner across functions to optimize storage, labeling, and material flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Leadership experience in warehouse/distribution/logistics operations.
• Experience leading large multi-shift teams and managing safety, quality, and productivity.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations for Zone 3 across three shifts and weekends.
• Oversee receipt, storage, handling, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
• Provide leadership for ~60 non-exempt and 2 exempt employees plus agency partners.
• Ensure safety, GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity.
