Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Technical Architect to lead cybersecurity initiatives across a mixed on-prem and cloud environment. You will drive secure architecture, collaborate with distributed teams, and advance Threat and Vulnerability Management programs to protect client data.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity, strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google), and excellent communication with senior leaders and vendors. Hybrid work with in-office days at Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO.”

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in cybersecurity as a practitioner.
• Experience architecting secure systems and defining strategy across orgs.
• Ability to translate cyber security direction into actionable programs.
• Experience with multiple large cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Strong communication across business units, leaders, vendors.
• Knowledge of IAM, PAM, SSO, encryption standards, and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with governance and regulatory frameworks (PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, GLBA) and standards (ISO 27001/2, ITIL, NIST).

Responsibilities

• Develop information security solutions in cloud to meet firm needs.
• Lead adoption of cloud infrastructure and hybrid architectures.
• Build relationships across IS teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure applications are instrumented for reliable monitoring and debugging.
• Automate repeatable system processes to reduce Tier 1 effort.
• Collaborate to deploy proof-of-concept security solutions.
