Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Architect to secure its cloud adoption. You will embed secure-by-design across cloud architectures, deliver threat models, and drive risk-based security decisions in collaboration with product, engineering, and risk teams.

You will lead cloud threat hunts, develop detection rules, and implement scalable controls across enterprise environments, influencing security strategy and resilience.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on cybersecurity concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on cloud-native experience across one or more major cloud platforms with relevant security certs.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies and risk-based security assessments.
• Experience with cloud security posture management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to embed secure-by-design principles across cloud architectures.
• Develop threat hunts, translate findings into detection rules and compensating controls.
• Apply tooling to analyze large datasets for threats and risk patterns.
• Deliver threat models and risk assessments for cloud services and applications.
• Review infrastructure-as-code for security alignment with standards.
• Develop preventive and detective controls across cloud environments at scale.
• Coordinate with security operations, threat intel, and incident response teams.
• Provide guidance on cloud threat landscape and emerging risks.
• Contribute to documentation and agile security program processes.
