Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Security Engineer IV to safeguard information systems and assets across enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with security teams, align security controls with policies, and support business objectives.

The role requires analyzing API traffic, leading incident remediation, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should be comfortable with on-call duties and work within Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO offices on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, MIS, related field or related work experience
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, API security, or related engineering disciplines
• Knowledge of security systems, risks, concepts and terminology
• Hands-on with security of Linux/UNIX/Windows, API Security, DLP, DBMS, networks and firewalls
• Understanding of API security risks and OWASP API Security Top 10

Responsibilities

• Perform administration of API Security, Cloud and SaaS Security Posture management and related platforms
• Participate in troubleshooting to resolve day-to-day issues
• Contribute to Agile methodologies to build security platforms
• Lead investigations and remediation for API security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and security analysts on best practices
