Job summary

KnowBe4 is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Researcher to join the Threat Research Lab in a hybrid role based in Arlington, VA. You will analyse trends across regions, investigate phishing campaigns, malware analysis, and threat actor techniques while collaborating with multiple departments and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years BS or 1 year MS, strong IOСs, reverse engineering, and Python automation, plus experience in customer-facing environments and triaging complex

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
• MS or equivalent with 1+ year experience.
• Strong knowledge of IOCs, reverse engineering and threat campaigns.
• Experience with phishing emails and malicious URL analysis.
• Familiarity with Python automation.
• Experience in customer-facing environments.
• Experience triaging complex customer queries.
• Experience with SQL or other databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyse trends and patterns in large data-sets to establish threat trends across regions, industries and business segment sizes.
• Collaborate with teams to mitigate phishing and other threats.
• Investigate phishing emails and malware analysis tasks.
• Utilize threat actor tools and techniques.
• Share knowledge with team members and external stakeholders.
