Tenable is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to join a hybrid role bridging Security Response and Decision Science Operations. You will monitor threats, coordinate end-to-end response, and produce external content while applying quantitative analysis to guide investment focus.

You will work across Research, PR, Marketing, Product, and PM to deliver results, write technical blogs and advisories, and create data-driven insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience communicating complex technical content to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threat landscape and track high-profile events in real time.
• Coordinate end-to-end security response and provide actionable insights.
• Create blogs, advisories, conference materials, and webinars.
• Collaborate with Research, PR, Marketing, Product, and PM teams.
• Build dashboards and analytical workflows to surface threat trends.
