Job summary

Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) seeks a TIN GA to support the TIN program chair and CACS advisor. This is a non-exempt, temporary part-time staff position compensated at the Level A rate, $16.95 per hour.

Responsibilities include compiling a weekly Opportunity newsletter for NPTI students, updating the TIN folder and tracking spreadsheets, serving as a liaison between the chair and students, and assisting with end-of-semester events.

Qualifications

• A combination of education and experience would demonstrate possession of the skills required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assists TIN program chair as needed.
• Updates TIN Job/Internship folder and spreadsheet as needed.
• Updates tracking spreadsheet with faculty and student accomplishments, such as publications or conference presentations.
• Serves as a liaison between the program chair and TIN students.
• Supports end of the semester program reception for graduating students.
• Acts as representative of TIN program to prospective students as needed.
