Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst specializing in AI training to help shape how AI systems understand cyber threats. This remote hourly contract role focuses on analyzing real-world attacker behavior, validating data, and contributing to threat intelligence used to train advanced AI models.

The role emphasizes independence, rigorous analysis, and accurate threat depiction, with flexible 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or related security roles.
• Hands-on familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows.
• Sharp instinct for distinguishing genuine attacker behavior from noise or synthetic data.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working autonomously on structured tasks with clear deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns.
• Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism.
• Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and benchmark AI systems.
• Review AI-generated cybersecurity outputs and flag inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or fabricated data.
• Apply frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to assess and annotate threat scenarios.
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments.

What You'll Do
