Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. You will track Latam-language eCrime actors, collect timely OSINT, and provide unique insights for finished intelligence used by CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.

The role requires operational security skills, the ability to manage concurrent projects, and the motivation to complete tasks with minimal direction, contributing to a mission-driven security platform.

Qualifications

• Spanish and Portuguese language capabilities.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Navigate a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Familiarity with Latam-language eCrime groups.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics used by eCrime actors.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and identify creative solutions with persistence.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal guidance.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect actionable, timely information to answer requirements related to eCrime actors, especially Latam-language actors.
• Follow up on leads and identify eCrime threat actors across online communities using OSINT tradecraft.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends related to Latam-language actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical reports and threat estimates on eCrime topics.
• Employ secure operational tradecraft practices.
