Job summary

Nebius seeks an experienced Threat Hunting Team Lead to guide the proactive security program across our corporate IT, cloud, and data center environments. You will mentor hunters, develop playbooks, and collaborate with SOC, IR, and Detection Engineering to strengthen Nebius's cyber resilience.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in cyber security, 2+ years leading technical teams, deep MITRE ATT&CK knowledge, and strong scripting skills (KQL, SPL, SQL, Python, PowerShell).

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity with threat hunting, incident response, detection engineering, or SOC operations.
• 2+ years leading technical security teams.
• Strong understanding of attacker methodologies, post-exploitation techniques, and modern cyber threats.
• Hands-on experience with hypothesis-driven threat hunting across endpoints, network, identity, and cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary TTPs.
• Experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, cloud security platforms, and threat intel sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Threat Hunting team with mentoring and development.
• Define and execute the proactive threat hunting strategy across IT, cloud environments, and data centers.
• Lead hypothesis-driven hunting to identify advanced threats and persistence mechanisms.
• Develop and improve threat hunting playbooks, methodologies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response to validate findings and support investigations.
• Partner with Detection Engineering to convert hunts into automated detections and improve monitoring.
