Job summary

Premera is hiring a Cybersecurity Threat Response Engineer III to join the Threat Intelligence and Response Team in a hybrid role on the Mountlake Terrace campus, WA. You will respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and help safeguard medical and financial data.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Information Systems or Business Administration and 5+ years in security design, intrusion detection, and incident response. On-call rotation included, on-site resources available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems or business administration.
• 5+ years designing and implementing secure network systems and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Respond to cyber security incidents and investigate threats using forensic analysis.
• Protect Premera data from threat actors in a structured team environment.
• Identify, respond to, and investigate daily attacks targeting data.
• Engineer proactive solutions to prevent costly cyber threats.
• Contribute to the Security Awareness Program through clear communication.
