Job summary

Premera is seeking a Safety & Security Manager in Mountlake Terrace, WA, to lead enterprise-wide safety, security, and emergency management programs for employees, visitors, and assets. You will partner with HR, Facilities, and Legal to strengthen resilience and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in security programs, leadership experience, and the ability to deliver training while ensuring regulatory compliance across Premera locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience in security operations, investigations, physical security, or security program management, including 3 years with physical security technologies and external vendors.
• Three years of people leadership experience and three years developing and delivering safety training programs.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED and OSHA certifications within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead occupational safety, physical security, workplace violence prevention, and emergency management programs across locations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, WISHA, HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC, and related requirements; develop training and awareness programs.
