Job summary

Minerva Cyber Technologies is seeking a Threat Hunt Lead to spearhead proactive threat hunting investigations, set hunt priorities, guide analysts, and translate evidence into actionable defensive improvements.

You will coordinate incident escalation, remediation recommendations, and follow-on detection engineering work across endpoints, identities, networks, and cloud environments, mentoring staff and communicating findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading threat hunts or advanced defensive cyber operations investigations.
• Strong understanding of adversary behavior (TTPs) and analytical use of diverse security telemetry.
• Ability to develop testable hypotheses and distinguish absence of evidence from adequate coverage.
• Experience mentoring analysts and briefing technical and operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop hunt hypotheses from threat intelligence and observed activity.
• Define required data, analytical methods, scope, and criteria for conclusions.
• Guide analysts through endpoint, identity, network, and cloud investigations.
• Coordinate incident escalation, remediation recommendations, and follow-on detection work.
• Review evidence quality and communicate findings, uncertainty, and coverage limitations.
