Job summary

Walden Family Services in Riverside, CA is seeking a seasoned THPP NMD & THP-Plus Program Director to lead the Riverside and San Bernardino programs. You will supervise program staff, manage budgets and housing, ensure licensing and contract compliance, and drive quality outcomes for transition‑age youth.

The role focuses on program growth, securing new funding, expanding partnerships with county and community stakeholders, and ensuring staff development and strong operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree approved under CA licensing standards and four years of social work/casework experience.
• Five years of management experience including supervising managers and coordinating with senior leadership.
• Experience developing and managing program budgets.
• Knowledge of applicable laws/regulations for the population served; ability to lead staff.
• Valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record; background clearances.
• Preferred: LCSW or LMFT license; experience with transition-age youth and county/state contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support program staff to ensure quality youth placements.
• Recruit, hire, onboard and develop staff; plan ongoing training.
• Manage program budgets and housing; monitor expenditures and occupancy targets.
• Ensure licensing compliance and quality through inspections and CQI activities.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with county/probation liaisons; track outcomes and contract deliverables.
• Grow program capacity by pursuing new funding and partnerships.
