Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) in Neurology Rare Disease. This senior, field-based, non-sales role partners with Marketing and Medical Affairs to engage national and regional thought leaders and to shape regional plans.

You will build relationships across diagnoses, address barriers to earlier diagnosis, testing and referral, and ensure compliant disease education before and after regulatory approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced clinical, scientific, public health or business degree preferred.
• At least eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience in field roles.
• Recent experience in rare or neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics or diagnostics preferred.
• Demonstrated pre-launch and launch experience within pre- and post-approval engagement boundaries.
• Ability to operate independently in a field role without established franchise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional plans aligned with national strategy and priorities.
• Map priority institutions and thought leaders to clarify diagnosis, testing, counseling, referral and treatment connections.
• Collaborate with MSLs and Marketing to engage in education programs and market development.
• Lead regional advocacy engagement with local organizations and National Patient Advocacy.
• Oversee congress and professional meeting engagement and post-approval speaker programs.
