Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of pharma/biotech product marketing/commercial experience.
• Experience in Dermatology or immunology injectable drugs.
• Field marketing or related experience is preferred.

About This RoleWe are seeking a Dermatology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Associate Director to execute strategies and tactics for our Lupus franchise. This position reports into the Marketing organization and is focused on building, implementing, and executing field-based initiatives that support educational objectives and the appropriate use of product therapy with healthcare professionals (HCPs), their staff, and the caregiver and patient community.As a field-based role within US Marketing, this individual will be responsible for activities within their assigned region, while also supporting programs across the country and collaborating regularly with internal stakeholders across multiple departments.This position requires a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends, and up to 80% travel.What You’ll DoThe Dermatology TLL position plays a critical role in generating insights from leading key medical experts (KMEs) and informs brand activities by:Leading cross-functional planning and execution of advisory boardsCapturing insights from targeted customers within the TLL territory, through 1/1 meetings, roundtable discussions, and congress activitiesServing on cross-functional brand sub-teams to provide internal and external customer perspectiveProviding competitive intelligence gained through targeted customer meetingsPartnering with HQ to develop compelling promotional content, particularly as it relates to presentation materialsManaging vendor work as needed (i.e., Medical Education Agency, Meeting Services, etc.)Identifying and recruiting KMEs for content development and other promotional projects (i.e., video shoots, web content, New Hire training, etc.)Serving as the KME point of contact for international opportunitiesDeveloping and supporting execution of congress plan including industry symposia and HCP engagement strategiesCoordinating KME Executive Engagement meetings with leadershipWorking with the Program Operations team to manage Speaker’s Bureau requirements (i.e., training, remediation, etc.)Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred7 + years of pharmaceutical or biotech product marketing/commercial experience requiredDermatology or immunology injectable drug experience requiredPrevious field marketing or related functional experience in marketing, sales or an allied function preferredProven ability to drive results in a challenging and ambiguous market.Driving is an essential duty of this job; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to Biogen policy to be considered.Job Level: ManagementAdditional InformationThe base compensation range for this role is: $180,000.00-$248,000.00Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.In addition to compensation, Biogen offers a full and highly competitive range of benefits designed to support our employees’ and their families physical, financial, emotional, and social well-being ; including, but not limited to:Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life insurancesFitness & Wellness programs including a fitness reimbursementShort- and Long-Term Disability insuranceA minimum of 15 days of paid vacation and an additional end-of-year shutdown time off (Dec 26-Dec 31)Up to 12 company paid holidays + 3 paid days off for Personal Significance80 hours of sick time per calendar yearPaid Maternity and Parental Leave benefit401(k) program participation with company matched contributionsEmployee stock purchase planTuition reimbursement of up to $10,000 per calendar yearEmployee Resource Groups participationWhy Biogen?We are a global team with a commitment to excellence, and a pioneering spirit.
