Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Neptune City, New Jersey seeks a Surgical Physician Assistant to join our thoracic surgery team. You will assist in thoracic procedures, perform histories and physicals, and support day-to-day clinical needs of our patients.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in thoracic surgeries and perform history and physical assessments.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and safely prescribe medications per NJ rules.
• Provide patient-centered education and transitions of care.
• Mentor PA students and residents and participate in educational programs.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to program advancement.
