Job summary
The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide professional and clinical expertise in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. The role includes expert clinical practice, guidance to patients and families, research, leadership, and education.
Qualifications include PA or NP certification with NJ licensure, CDS/DEA credentials, and BCLS/ACLS/CALS; ultrasound training is a plus.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or RN/NP pathway with MSN and related certification.
- Current national board certification as physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
- NJ physician assistant license or RN license and APN license.
- Obtain NJ CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.
- BCLS, ACLS, CALS certification (may be obtained after hire).
- Bedside Ultrasound course completion (may be obtained after hire).
Responsibilities
- Contributes professional and clinical expertise in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to patients, families and other healthcare providers.
- Engage in research, leadership, and education activities.
- Serve on call as required.
