TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, seeks an advanced practice provider for a thoracic surgical group practice. The role involves inpatient rounds, postoperative management, new consults, and education/care coordination within a high-volume thoracic surgery team.

Candidates must be a physician assistant or certified acute care nurse practitioner with Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain, and ideally 2 years of thoracic surgery support experience.

Competenze

• Must be a physician assistant or certified acute care nurse practitioner
• Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain
• Two years’ experience in a supporting thoracic surgery role preferred, but not required
• Must be highly motivated with a desire to work in a high volume, autonomous environment
• Collaborate with thoracic surgeons
• Conduct comprehensive inpatient rounds, provide management of postoperative thoracic surgery patients and conduct new inpatient consults
• Evaluate postop patients in the PACU, communicate with surgical team
• Provide specialized education and care coordination, coordinate transitions of care, including post-discharge follow-up and identifying barriers to recovery
• Local travel to surrounding area HCA TriStar facilities
• Schedule: M-F, full-time
• Shared weekday phone call

• Perform new inpatient consults and coordinate care with the thoracic surgery team
• Evaluate postoperative patients in PACU and communicate with surgical team
• Provide education and care coordination, including post-discharge follow-up

• Local travel to surrounding area HCA TriStar facilities
• Support a high-volume autonomous clinical environment
• Participate in shared weekday call duties
