Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent from NLN/CCNE-accredited program.
• Arizona Licensure with Prescriptive Authority for Nurse Practitioners.
• BCLS/CPR certification and DEA license per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practitioner care in thoracic surgery in collaboration with the surgical team.
• conduct patient histories, physical exams, orders and interpretations of diagnostic tests.
• prescribe medications and coordinate care with related departments and specialists.
• participate in discharge planning and patient-family communication.
