Job summary

CJ Logistics in Matteson, Illinois, is looking for skilled and motivated Temporary Forklift Operators. You will safely maneuver forklifts to ensure that products are loaded, unloaded, and stored properly. This is an essential role that directly impacts our supply chain and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of recent forklift experience and can lift up to 60 lbs. Additional benefits include full health insurance, 401(k), and a supportive open-door work environment.

As a Temporary Forklift Operator, you’re the backbone of our warehouse operations. Safely maneuver forklifts to make sure products are perfectly loaded, unloaded, picked, and stored. • Pay Range: $20.28 per hour + $0.75 shift differential for A and B Shifts
• Schedule 3A: Third Shift: Tuesday- Saturday 11:30pm to 8:00am
• Schedule 3B: Third Shift: Sunday – Thursday 11:30pm to 8:00am

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Safely operate Sit-down forklift to keep orders moving and customers happy
• Master the art of loading, unloading, picking, putting away, and consolidating pallets
• Jump in with manual case picking when directed
• Get products prepped and shipped with accuracy and care
• Conduct outbound load audits, correct labels and count discrepancies
• Keep the warehouse moving by replenishing products in the right bays
• Tackle other duties like a pro — all within your training and expertise
