Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Material Handler (RPC Sorter) in Hammond, LA. You will hand sort RPCs weighing about 10 ounces for palletizing and shipping to manufacturers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

The 3rd shift runs Friday to Monday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with hourly pay of $17.00. Responsibilities include stacking, inspecting quality, maintaining clean work areas, and completing daily paperwork while staying in close contact with the Shift Lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack RPC’s on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions.
• Examine products for quality standards.
• Ensure all trash and debris is removed prior to returning to customer.
• Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the storage facility.
• Accurately complete all paperwork to track daily progress.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.
