Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking an Associate Production Print Technician for a third shift (7pm–5:05am, Sun-Thu) at the Cottage Court location. The role focuses on operating digital print, mail inserting, and finishing equipment, while maintaining quality and color accuracy across statements and reports.

You will program job specs, monitor equipment, and coordinate service as needed. 80% of time spent in office-based tasks at Madison, WI area, with relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-oriented solutions, support or service.
• Preferred experience with print/mail/scanning equipment and processes for the designated area.
• Demonstrated attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information.
• Basic knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in various PC software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Acrobat).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment for designated area, including digital print and mail inserting machines.
• Program complex job specifications to equipment and use software to record, analyze, and organize job data.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment, coordinate service for problems, and adjust as needed.
• Assist with developing/updating standard work for processes, including operation, safety, and quality control.
• Ensure proper quality and color, visually inspect images, and adjust as necessary.
• Proficiently use vendor-supplied software control and operating systems.
• Monitor inventory and order as necessary.
