Job summary

American Family Insurance Agency Staff is seeking an Associate Production Print Technician to operate and maintain a range of printing and finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality documents such as statements, confirmations, checks, and reports are produced accurately and on time.

This is a third-shift, office-based role at the Madison, WI location, with a 80% office presence requirement and a meaningful shift differential for late hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-oriented solutions, support or service.
• Preferred experience with print/mail/scanning equipment and processes for the designated area.
• Demonstrated attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information.
• Basic knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in various PC software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Acrobat).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain printing and finishing equipment to produce documents.
• Program job specifications to equipment and record/analyze data.
• Perform daily maintenance and coordinate service for equipment issues.
• Help develop/update standard work for processes including safety and quality control.
• Ensure quality/color accuracy; visually inspect outputs and adjust as needed.
• Utilize vendor software control/operating systems.
• Monitor inventory and place orders as necessary.
